BREAKING: One Good acquires Angelo Vegan Cheese! | India

We're pleased to announce that we at One Good (formerly Goodmylk) have acquired Angelo Vegan Cheese, the most DELICIOUS vegan cheese in India!

What makes Angelo Vegan Cheese so delicious?

It's made using only fresh, natural plant-based ingredients and comes in four different products to work perfectly with any of your dishes: pizza, lasagna, dosas, maggi, fries, grazing platters, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, popcorn, dips, sandwiches, burgers, noodles, and so much more.

Literally any culinary need or craving you have can be satisfied by this cheese alone.

So what changes?

We now manufacture the products in our own facilities and deliver the products with our own delivery fleet.

Customers can now order Angelo Vegan Cheese on our website.

And for the first time, customers in our primary cities (Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Hyderabad) can enjoy all four vegan cheese products!

Meet Adi Fer, the founder of Angelo Vegan Cheese

Earlier this week, we took to social media with the news and—not surprisingly!—it caught on in India's vegan communities; Bangalore-based Adi (the founder of Angelo Vegan Cheese) is especially thrilled about this announcement.

As a passionate vegan, Adi isn’t just a talented cheese maker, he’s incredibly passionate about animal rights, and shares our same values and drive to make the tasty vegan products mainstream.

Five years into his vegan journey, Adi created the brand to fill the need for high quality vegan cheese in India. But his motivation to start Angelo Vegan Cheese was personal, too, because like countless others, he struggled to give up cheese.

This prompted him to experiment over and over again before perfecting his homemade cheese recipe. And he delivered on every front: taste, texture, mouthfeel, and smell.

As a result, he created a number of passionate, dedicated cheese-lovers who can be found in Bangalore's vegan community and beyond - including our team members!

Before this acquisition, Adi made each batch at home and had his products delivered all across Bangalore. As the demand grew, so did his team.

The word got out about his vegan cheeses in other cities, but without distribution and warehousing, Adi couldn't get his products into the hands of customers. That's how both brands first began to work together, and eventually, the collaboration became more than an exchange of knowledge, it became a friendship we both cherish!

A story we resonated with

We love Adi's story because it reminds us of our own roots. One thing we have in common with Adi is that two of our founders, Abhay Rangan and his mother Veena, began making our best selling product, peanut curd, in their home kitchen.

To this day, the peanut curd is still a home recipe, and our product happens to be a key ingredient in the Classic Vegan Mozzarella and Truffle Vegan Mozzarella!

Our goal as a brand is to become the next big dairy company in India, all without the animals. Together, we believe veganism is the most sustainable, compassionate lifestyle, and we are closer to proving you can have delicious, nutritious, and inexpensive plant-based foods.

A look into the new vegan cheeses

Classic Vegan Mozzarella

This product is similar to its dairy-based counterpart. Try it on pizza, lasagna, toasted bread, rags crackers—you name it! It’s so soft, creamy, and indulgent that you can create your own cheese-based recipes or add this cheese spread onto other foods like pasta.

Ingredients: cashew, peanut, water, tapioca, salt, agar, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, and herbs.

Truffle Vegan Mozzarella

This vegan mozzarella is marinated with white truffle oil, which gives it a rich and savoury flavour boost. Its texture is also creamy and indulgent, making it perfect for pairing with tomatoes or drizzling over pasta, just how you love it!

Ingredients: cashew, peanut, water, tapioca, salt, agar, extra virgin olive oil, white truffle oil, garlic, herbs.

Melty Vegan Mozzarella

Who said vegan cheese doesn't melt? This vegan cheese melts oozy goodness! The recipe was designed to melt, brown, and bubble JUST like dairy cheese! You won’t miss the taste of regular cheese, because this cheese is the real deal. Hands down.

Ingredients: water, coconut oil, tapioca, cashew, nutritional yeast, salt, apple cider vinegar, agar, garlic powder, psyllium husk.

Vegan Parmesan

This aged vegan parmesan is so tasty that once you start eating it, you will keep wanting more...and more! Sprinkle it over your favourite foods like maggi, dosas or pizza; garlic bread or mashed potatoes; fries and pasta—it goes with anything, really!

Ingredients: cashew, nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt.

Benefits of vegan cheese

Some of the benefits of these vegan cheeses are that it's cholesterol-free, milk-free, casein-free, lactose-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and comes in sustainable, plastic-free packaging!

Stay tuned for vegan cheese recipes and updates with these products (including pricing, packaging, and availability), and until then, keep shopping plant-based!
